Vow renewal

The first time, you promised. This time, you know exactly what you are promising.

Hawaii vow renewal packages on Oahu

You have already built a life together.

You have lived through the ordinary days, the hard ones, the beautiful ones, and all the years in between.

A vow renewal is a chance to stop for a moment and choose each other again.

Not because you forgot what you promised.

Because now you understand what those promises actually mean.

You are not repeating the promise. You are honoring everything that came after it.

The first time you said your vows, you were promising a life you had not lived yet.

Now you know what that life actually looks like.

The ordinary mornings.

The hard seasons.

The inside jokes no one else understands.

The versions of yourselves you have already grown through.

Maybe there are children now.

Maybe there have been homes, moves, losses, celebrations, or years that changed both of you.

You are not promising a life you have not lived yet.

You are looking at the person who lived it with you and saying:

I would still choose you.

And this time, you can preserve more of what that choice feels like.

The vows.

The way you looked at each other.

Your children watching, if they are there.

Your voices.

The movement, the laughter, and the moments between the words.

You are not only creating a memory for yourselves. Years from now, your family will be able to come back to this day and feel what it meant for you to choose each other again.

Everything is taken care of so you can be present for the reason you came.

A vow renewal does not need to become another event to organize.

It can simply be time set aside for the two of you and the life you have built together.

The package includes:

  • Licensed officiant to lead your vow renewal
  • Hair and makeup where you are staying
  • Permit and insurance
  • Two fresh leis and a bouquet
  • Two hours of coverage
  • 150 edited photographs
  • Full ceremony recording
  • Super 8-style film, about three minutes, set to a song you choose
  • Printed album with your favorite 50 images
  • Up to eight guests included
  • No marriage license, appointment, or legal paperwork

And this time, you get to keep the way it felt.

The photographs bring back the still moments.

The film brings back the movement.

The full ceremony recording keeps every word you said to each other.

And the album gives your family something physical to hold years from now.

The day

You do not need to have the whole day figured out. You just need to know that choosing each other again matters. We’ll take care of the rest.

  1. Tell us what you are imagining.

Fill out the questionnaire with the date you have in mind, your backup dates, and a little about the two of you.

Then we talk through what this renewal means to you and what you want the day to feel like.

  2. We put the pieces in place.

We coordinate the officiant, hair and makeup, permit, flowers, location, and timing.

There is no marriage license appointment and no legal paperwork to manage.

  3. Come to Oahu and choose each other again.

Hair and makeup happens where you are staying.

Then you meet us at the location we chose together and have the ceremony.

  4. The rest of the time becomes yours.

If family came, there is time for them to be part of the memory too.

Then the day becomes quieter for the two of you.

  5. You get to come back to it.

Your online gallery and Super 8-style film arrive within four weeks.

You choose your favorite 50 photographs for the printed album, which arrives within six weeks of your selections.

The day itself lasts a few hours.

What you keep from it lasts much longer.

Every vow renewal starts for a different reason. What matters is what this moment means to you now.

Maybe it is your tenth anniversary.

Your twentieth.

Your thirtieth.

Maybe the first wedding was beautiful, but now you want something quieter and more personal.

Maybe you got legally married during the pandemic and never had the ceremony you imagined.

Maybe your children are here now and you want them to see what it looks like to choose the same person again after all these years.

Maybe there is no milestone at all.

You can wear the dress again or choose something completely different.

You can say the vows you wrote the first time or write new ones.

You can make the ceremony simple or deeply personal.

And this time, the day gets to reflect the life you have actually built together.

Plans change. Your vow renewal can move with them.

A $1,000 non-refundable retainer reserves your date.

The remaining $2,500 is due 60 days before your day.

You can move the date once at no charge if you tell us 60 or more days ahead and the team is available.

If you cancel after the balance is paid, that balance becomes a credit toward a new date within 12 months.

We hope you never need any of this. But if plans change, you should know exactly what happens next before you ever pay a dollar.

A few things couples ask about vow renewals

Why is the vow renewal the same price as the elopement?

The marriage license was never the main value of the experience.

The legal paperwork disappears.

The care behind the day does not.

You still have the officiant, hair and makeup, permit, flowers, two hours of coverage, 150 photographs, full ceremony recording, Super 8-style film, printed album, and the same planning and care around the day.

Do we need a marriage license or paperwork?

No.

You are already married.

There is nothing to apply for, sign, or file.

We got legally married but never had a wedding. Can this be our ceremony?

Absolutely.

You do not need a traditional anniversary story for a vow renewal to mean something.

If you got legally married quietly, during the pandemic, at a courthouse somewhere else, or simply never had the ceremony you wanted, this can be that moment.

Can our children be part of it?

Yes.

Your children can stand with you, participate in the ceremony, be included in the photographs and film, or simply watch you choose each other again.

What if we do not want to write vows?

You do not have to.

Some couples want to write something personal.

Some want to repeat a few words from their original vows.

And some simply want the officiant to lead the ceremony and give them the chance to say "I do" to each other again.

There is no pressure to turn the moment into a speech.

The ceremony can be as simple or as personal as you want it to be.

What matters is that it feels like the two of you.

Is an Oahu vow renewal ceremony on a beach or in a park?

Either.

We choose the location together based on the scenery you love, who is coming, accessibility, timing, and permit requirements.

Do your Oahu vow renewal packages include family and friends?

Yes.

Up to eight guests are included.

Nine to twenty-five guests is one flat $500 fee.

Or the day can be only the two of you.

How far ahead should we book?

At least 30 days ahead.

Your date becomes official once the online agreement is signed and the $1,000 retainer is paid.

We take a maximum of ten couples each month, so popular dates can fill earlier.
